Welcome to EZZYRIDE (“EZZYRIDE”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), a transportation booking marketplace powered by ezzy.ph and owned and operated by EZZYTech IT Solutions.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of EZZYRIDE, including our website, mobile applications, and all services, products, and features offered through the Platform.

By accessing or using EZZYRIDE, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. About EZZYRIDE

Our Platform

EZZYRIDE is a technology marketplace that connects customers with independent transportation providers and drivers offering transportation-related services.

Services available through the Platform may include:

  • Airport transfers
  • City transportation
  • Private car services
  • Van rentals
  • Shuttle services
  • Corporate transportation
  • Point-to-point rides
  • Hourly vehicle hire
  • Tourist transportation
  • Other transportation services available through the Platform

EZZYRIDE serves solely as a technology platform facilitating bookings, communication, and payments between customers and independent transportation providers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, EZZYTech IT Solutions does not own, operate, employ, supervise, or control the transportation services offered through the Platform.

2. Eligibility

User Requirements

To use EZZYRIDE, you must:

  • Be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority under applicable law.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into legally binding agreements.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and current account information.
  • Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for minors using their accounts where permitted by law.

3. User Accounts

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • All activities conducted under your account.
  • Keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
  • Promptly notifying EZZYRIDE of any unauthorized access or suspected security breach.

EZZYRIDE reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Marketplace Services

Booking Services

EZZYRIDE enables users to:

  • Search transportation providers.
  • Compare available transportation services.
  • Book rides and transportation services.
  • Schedule future trips.
  • Communicate with providers.
  • Process payments where supported.
  • Leave reviews and ratings.

Availability of services may vary depending on location, vehicle availability, provider participation, and applicable regulations.

5. User Responsibilities

Responsible Use

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate booking information.
  • Respect transportation providers and other users.
  • Pay applicable booking fees.
  • Comply with provider policies.
  • Follow applicable transportation laws and safety requirements.
  • Use the Platform lawfully and responsibly.

Customers are responsible for reviewing pricing, schedules, vehicle availability, cancellation policies, and service details before confirming a booking.

6. Independent Provider Responsibilities

Provider Obligations

Independent transportation providers are solely responsible for:

  • Transportation services offered.
  • Driver qualifications.
  • Vehicle ownership or authorization.
  • Vehicle registration and maintenance.
  • Insurance where required.
  • Pricing.
  • Availability.
  • Customer service.
  • Compliance with transportation laws and regulations.

Providers must ensure that all information published on EZZYRIDE remains accurate and up to date.

7. Bookings and Payments

Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment providers.

Where applicable, EZZYRIDE may temporarily hold payments in accordance with the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy before releasing funds to the independent provider.

Where applicable, the Platform Service Fee and any authorized deductions will be applied before the remaining balance is released to the provider.

Booking terms, payment schedules, pricing, and cancellation policies may vary depending on the transportation provider.

8. Platform Service Fees

Partner Fees

EZZYRIDE charges a Platform Service Fee of 11% on every completed transaction processed through the Platform.

The Platform Service Fee is automatically deducted before the remaining balance is remitted to the Partner.

The current Platform Service Fee includes payment processing costs and supports:

  • Platform maintenance
  • Secure payment processing
  • Customer support
  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Marketing and promotions
  • Technology infrastructure
  • Continuous platform improvements

Partners remain responsible for their own applicable taxes, permits, licenses, and government obligations.

EZZYRIDE reserves the right to modify its Platform Service Fee. Any changes will be communicated before becoming effective.

9. Reviews and Ratings

Community Reviews

Users may submit reviews based on genuine transportation experiences.

Users must not:

  • Publish false or misleading reviews.
  • Manipulate ratings.
  • Harass drivers or customers.
  • Post offensive or defamatory content.

EZZYRIDE reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.

10. Marketplace Disclaimer

Independent Providers

EZZYRIDE serves solely as a technology marketplace connecting customers with independent transportation providers.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, EZZYTech IT Solutions does not employ, supervise, manage, control, or operate transportation providers or drivers listed on the Platform.

Independent providers are solely responsible for:

  • Transportation services.
  • Driver conduct.
  • Vehicle condition.
  • Safety compliance.
  • Pricing.
  • Customer service.
  • Licenses and permits.
  • Compliance with applicable transportation laws.

The Platform Service Fee charged by EZZYRIDE is solely for the operation and improvement of the Platform and does not constitute payment for the transportation service itself.

11. Intellectual Property

Platform Ownership

All trademarks, logos, software, graphics, website content, text, images, videos, databases, and other intellectual property associated with EZZYRIDE are owned by EZZYTech IT Solutions or their respective owners.

Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, scrape, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission.

12. Prohibited Activities

Platform Misuse

Users must not:

  • Violate applicable laws.
  • Commit fraud or identity theft.
  • Create fake accounts.
  • Use unauthorized payment methods.
  • Upload malicious software.
  • Attempt unauthorized access.
  • Interfere with Platform operations.
  • Harass other users or providers.
  • Circumvent Platform Service Fees.
  • Manipulate bookings, payments, or reviews.

Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of accounts.

13. Limitation of Liability

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EZZYTech IT Solutions shall not be liable for:

  • Transportation delays.
  • Traffic conditions.
  • Vehicle breakdowns.
  • Driver conduct.
  • Customer-provider disputes.
  • Missed appointments.
  • Booking failures.
  • Technical interruptions.
  • Payment disputes beyond our reasonable control.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

14. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund Policy

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Transportation providers may establish their own cancellation, waiting time, no-show, and refund policies where permitted by law.

Customers should review these policies before confirming a booking.

15. Privacy

Privacy Policy

Your use of EZZYRIDE is also governed by our:

16. Third-Party Services

External Services

EZZYRIDE may integrate third-party services including:

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

17. Suspension and Termination

Account Suspension

EZZYRIDE may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms.
  • Engage in unlawful conduct.
  • Commit fraud.
  • Compromise platform security.
  • Harm other users or providers.
  • Damage the reputation of EZZYRIDE or EZZYTech IT Solutions.

18. Governing Law

Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of the Republic of the Philippines.

19. Changes to These Terms

Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal requirements, or business operations.

Updated Terms become effective upon publication on EZZYRIDE.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
